Dispute with: A Business, Company, or Store
Amount: Over $100,000
Description: Our pet was involved in a accident .we took it to our local vet . She suggested taking him to an ortho specialist. She consulted with ortho . We made appointment . When my wife showed up to pick up Hunter the vet had euthanized him. Said there was a lack of communication. My wife broke down in the office . The vet handed us a $400 bill and an apology. We never signed a consent form for him to be euthanized which is law in ny. My wife was later found beside the road crying her eyes out . Other people had similar stories about this vet. We were in small claims court yesterday. The vets lawyer said we were only doing it for the money . Well weren't ,but I am now , the vet thinks she is above the law .

Yes, you can. You never agreed to the pet being put down. I am terribly sorry for your loss I have a dog of my own I would never be able to handle that.
